JON TRUMBO
PROJECT MANAGER II
Jon Trumbo is a project manager II for Radius Design, having joined the firm in 2021, starting as an assistant project manager. With more than four years of project management experience, he has exceptional understanding of PG&E, AT&T, and Comcast design requirements and processes within the Bay Area. Trumbo has proven expertise in contract management and construction accounting, with a strong track record of coordinating complex utility projects.
At Radius Design, Trumbo has managed 40+ utility design projects including commercial, residential, mixed-use, and campus developments. That experience includes work with large-scale residential, commercial, and tech-industrial projects, assisting the client with coordinating and designing electric and gas connections with PG&E to lower costs and maintain schedule. He has provided utility consulting services pertaining to PG&E, AT&T, Comcast and Fiber requirements while advocating on behalf of clients to local jurisdictions and utility providers. Trumbo has also strategized cost-saving solutions, utility design, project schedule, and internal resource allocations to ensure timely completion that coincided with overall construction schedules, public utility requirements, and conditions of approval with the city/county.
Trumbo’s project experience includes various locations in the Bay Area, such as Oaks Business Park in Livermore, Pleasant Hill Golf Course Redevelopment in Pleasant Hill, both Greystar Tasman East and Agnes Campus in Santa Clara, and four in San Jose: 2505 Samaritan Drive, Supermicro, Equinix, and Madero Project.
Prior to joining Radius, Trumbo was a construction project coordinator for Comcast in Livermore, Calif., and a junior project manager for B&C Transit Inc. in San Francisco. He also held several other project coordinator positions.
Trumbo earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and MBA in International/Global Studies, both from California State University, East Bay. He also has a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
