OPPORTUNITIES

Project Manager

The Project Manager is the key to coordination between the field team, design team, and our clientele. The Project Manager serves as the primary contact between public utility companies and the development team to coordinate the utility designs that meet both utility requirements and project needs. The Project Manager will oversee the development of construction drawings, specifications and construction contract documents for single-family, multi-family, mixed-use and commercial development projects. 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent required
  • A minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager for an engineering firm, utility company, or equivalent
  • Field experience in the construction of utilities a plus
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2014 and up
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possesses professional communication skills at all times
  • Problem solving and critical-thinking skills

Utility Designer

The Utility Designer will play a critical role by using AutoCAD to design joint trench, electric, gas, and telecommunication infrastructure that serves a variety of project sites. This role involves thorough communication with the project management and design teams, and a growing understanding of utility constraints and requirements.    

Required Skills

  •  0-3 years of experience as a drafter for a mechanical engineering, architectural design firm, civil design firm or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage time 
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, architectural, and civil drawings
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD; applicants may be asked to perform a company administered CAD test referencing skills as listed above during the interview process.

Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager is an important role in the project management team. This position desires a candidate who is eager to learn all facets of the utility industry. This role is essential in the coordination between both internal and external project teams. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager in the development of construction drawings, specifications and construction contract documents for single-family, multi-family, mixed-use and commercial development projects. 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent required
  • A minimum 0-2 years of experience as a project manager for an engineering firm, utility company, or equivalent
  • Field experience in the construction of utilities a plus
  • EIT certification preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2014 and up
  • Skilled use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possesses professional communication skills at all times
  • Problem solving and critical-thinking skills
